'Slacks' turns 10! Remix it to win an official Nettwerk release + Arturia MIDI controller + more prizes!
To celebrate 10 years of Slacks and its upcoming 50 million streams on Spotify, I’m launching this remix competition for the song that started everything for me.
Over a decade ago, I entered the Bon Iver Stems Project, a competition that changed my life. At the time, I was just writing acoustic folk songs and had never produced anything. I needed an artist name, so I chose St. South, inspired by my roots in The Great Southern of Western Australia. I downloaded the stems, learned how to use Garageband, and created my first remix, which won my category and landed me on the Bon Iver remix album.
Now, I'm coming full circle, paying homage to that pivotal moment with my own remix competition.
